A History of Success
Since 1983 Pool Systems has developed from a small distribution company servicing the Queensland swimming pool trade - into a major manufacturer with sales throughout Australia and other international swimming pool markets. Many of our products are now sold by some of the largest and most successful retailers in the world.
Pool Systems was the first company to offer packaged spare parts under the Aussie Pool Parts banner in 1989. An acquisition in 1997 provided direct access to a manufacturing facility in China. This created the opportunity to successfully introduce our Aussie Gold brand of professionally packaged cleaning and maintenance equipment plus a variety of consumable products.
Our recently introduced Swimsportz range of Leisure Products is also now well established and has generated many additional sales for our customers.
Our Brisbane head office and warehouse distribution complex was custom built in May 2000. The 2400 square metre (26,000 square feet) building features a product display area, Research and Development facilities as well as packing and assembly areas. This Brisbane warehouse is supported by off-site injection moulding facilities both locally and in China.

Product Development
Innovation
Regular in-house conferences are used to create and develop new product ideas. An emphasis is placed on innovation and unique features for all new products. Our Product Development department then thoroughly research each suggestion before a final decision is made.
Design
The latest computer technology is used to create innovative product designs. This technology can then create one-off working models for evaluation and testing. The final design can then be electronically transferred direct to a toolmaking computer which initiates the tool construction. Accuracy to within 1/1000 of a millimetre is assured with the final tool development.
Marketing
Pool Systems is continually reviewing and fine tuning its marketing programme to offer its customers a selection of professionally presented products with maximum consumer awareness. The Aussie Gold and Aussie Pool Parts brands have been developed exclusively for the pool and spa industry only.
Attractive packaging and regular promotions assist retail stores to maximize their profit.

Sales and Distribution
A network of account managers deal directly with trade customers throughout Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Northern Territory and Tasmania.
Long term distribution arrangements in South Australia, Western Australia and New Zealand complete a regular coverage to every swimming pool retail outlet in Australia and New Zealand.
Our in-field sales team is more than capably supported by our Call Centre staff and Warehouse team.
With the establishment in 2001 of an office and warehouse facility in Phoenix USA we now have direct distribution to all pool and spa customers in the USA and Canada.
The Phoenix office also controls sales to our network of European customers.
Regular advertising and participation in overseas trade shows with our award winning Swimsafe brand range has enhanced our corporate profile and created brand awareness in many overseas markets.

Presentation and Packaging
Each product within Pool Systems range has been analysed by a team of fully qualified graphic artists, marketing consultants and professional photographers in order to produce attractive yet practical packaging and point of sale material.
Display stands for our leisure products, spa products and much more are also available to the retailer for maximized sales and floor space usage.
